BitfinexwillworkwiththeDOJandfollowappropriatelegalprocessestoestablishourrightstoareturnofthestolenbitcoin.Bitfinexintendstoprovidefurtherupdatesonitseffortstoobtainareturnofthestolenbitcoinasandwhenthoseupdatesareavailable.
IfBitfinexreceivesarecoveryofthestolenbitcoin,asdescribedintheUNUSSEDLEOtokenwhitepaper,Bitfinexwill,within18monthsofthedateitreceivesthatrecoveryuseanamountequalto80%oftherecoverednetfundstorepurchaseandburnoutstandingUNUSSEDLEOtokens.ThesetokenrepurchasescanbeaccomplishedinopenmarkettransactionsorbyacquiringUNUSSEDLEOinover-the-countertrades,includingdirectlytradingbitcoinforUNUSSEDLEO.
